December Newsletter

Hey Everyone…

Happy Holidays!!

OK, now I really feel like I am writing one of those funny family Christmas letters, it really is Christmas!!! Let’s see…. looking back over this last year, what did I achieve?

January: The big lesson for me in January was the concept that everything I am is the result of something I have thought. Having been sick for most of the previous year, that was a big lesson for me.

February: I co-directed my first movie!! We shot in Gold Hill Colorado with a small and wonderful cast and crew. I learned that anything is possible if you have the drive to accomplish it.

March: I kept alive an end of life care home with love, hard work, and determination.

April: I visited Savannah, a place I have dreamed about living since I was a child. I also attended and filmed a conference on Mercury toxicity. I met with some of the top scientists and doctors in the field.

May: I had all the amalgam fillings in my teeth removed. I had more energy then I had had in years the following morning. I learned the importance of knowing what is going into your body.

June: Moved Hitching Post into a real theater and had a big splash. Learned that time is more valuable than money. I also learned that spending the extra $ to be a a real theater was worth the two days of set up and clean up it took in the other space.

July: Flew to LA to work with colorist for Lilith.

August: Got my Tony Robbins fill for the year at Wealth Mastery. Learned all sorts of things.

September: Shot a promo for ‘Into the Bardo’: a film on death that I will be shooting next year. Visited my grandparents, went to a Scottish festival, went skydiving, popped in to LA, and signed up for and won the 24 hour shoot out. Learned the importance of knowing your audience… a good thing to know in this industry.

October: Hired our first employee!! Launched my new and improved website. Learned that I can get more done by delegating then I can by trying to do everything myself.

November: Visited San Francisco, became the integrative care coordinator for the end of life care home, cooked a gluten free thanksgiving dinner.

December: Finally finished everything for Lilith, became business partners with a young driven woman for a project we will be announcing next year. I am going to cook a Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day brunch, and I’m sure do something else exciting… but there are still a few more days left in the month to go…

Wow, that was really nice to do. I actually had no idea that I had done so many things this last year. I encourage you to do something similar before the end of the year. Its always easier to see where you are going when you know both where you have been and when you know where you are.

What’s going in with the site:

All Things Erin is still a work in progress. I am really excited that a small group of you are interacting on the forum, my dream is that the forum will grow and flourish. We are still getting used to when things happen, so thanks for baring with us in this first month. Again, if there is anything you would like to see different or added please send us an email, this site is for you, so feel free to help make it yours.

My product line as you can see did not come out the day after Thanksgiving. I had no idea the magnitude of what I was going into with that. It should be up and running though any day now which is so exciting for me. The day the clothing arrived was such an amazing day for me. The designs are beautiful and to be able to hold it up and look at something that was my brain child was incredibly satisfying.

What’s going on in my life:

Getting ready to cook Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas brunch. This has turned into somewhat of a tradition over the last several years. I love to cook and I rarely give myself the time to do it. Dinner is always some kind of steak, but I’m still not sure how I will be cooking it this year. Brunch is always crepes, (which this year I will be making gluten free) with fruit, bacon, sausage, veggies, eggs, chocolate, whipped cream, not necessarily all at once, but you get the idea. I love food!!!! And I love it when people eat food I have cooked!!!

Present Delights:

Food: Popcorn with butter, salt and brewers yeast

Drink: Earl Gray tea with sugar and cream

Dessert: Blueberries

Activity: Posit Science (a brain fitness program)

Music: Michael Franti and Spearhead

Guilty Pleasure: Popcorn with butter, salt and brewers yeast

Thats it for now. Please email me if there are things you would like to hear about in this newsletter.

Love and gratitude,

Erin
